Moving Home

We packed up and left the island this weekend. We were blessed with warmth from the earth, and in our time together. And now we are back in our home, so intensely packed with love and joy, as well as grief and pain.

We’ll need the lessons we learned this summer for ourselves and for each other... patience, empathy, openness and grace. Knowing we are stronger and more in love than we have been in many years defines tragically beautiful. It can be so impossibly hard to be grateful for it, given what has brought us here. Yet we are.
